Full-spectrum CBD products also contain cannabinoids, terpenes and THC, but always only in minimal (legal) amounts. The legal limit for THC in products is 0.3% in most European countries (in the Czech Republic it is up to 1%). Although THC in such amounts has no psychoactive effects, some users prefer sweets without any traces of THC.

In contrast, broad-spectrum extract contains a whole range of natural cannabis compounds (which contribute to the final effect) except for one, namely THC.

Cannabinoids and terpenes need to be dissolved in an edible ‘medium’ during the production of gummies. A widely used substance is pectin, a component that gives the candies their distinctive chewy texture. Pectin is a natural substance commonly found in the cell walls of fruit.
