Desktop vaporisers are ideal for home use, as they are mains-powered and, compared to portable models, offer higher and more consistent performance.

When making my decision, I focused specifically on the specifications that have the greatest impact on the quality of a desk-top vaporiser:

Practical notes for home use

In terms of comfort, the most convenient models are those with a balloon or a fan for assisted inhalation. Both the Volcano Hybrid and the Volcano Classic allow inhalation via the Easy Valve system with minimal resistance.

The Arizer XQ2 and Extreme Q, on the other hand, combine a balloon with a tube and a fan, so you can choose your inhalation method according to your own preferences.

The Arizer V-Tower, by contrast, is designed solely for inhalation via a tube, which may not suit every user.

As far as safety is concerned, all the models compared here meet standard safety regulations for domestic appliances. However, it is important to note that Volcano Hybrid and Volcano Classic are not medical devices.
