In this review there are 4 full spectrum tablets and 1 broad spectrum tablet. Full spectrum contains CBD and other cannabinoids (such as CBG, CBN), terpenes, flavonoids and also trace amounts of THC. Broad spectrum contain CBD and other cannabinoids but are free of THC.
For both full spectrum and broad spectrum products, there may be an additive effect, which means that the effect of individual cannabinoids and other active ingredients may be increased when taken together. Cannabinoids affect each of us differently, it always depends on age, weight, metabolism, product potency and other factors.
I was expecting the capsules to calm me down, induce a feeling of relaxation, improve the quality of sleep and more energy during the day. I tested 5 Czech brands in different price ranges with similar CBD content, including one CBG capsule. I was very pleasantly surprised by 3 products that won me over for their effects. The biggest surprise was CBG capsules from CBD Star.
I would like to add that all the products mentioned are laboratory tested and meet all quality standards. Now, let’s see how the individual tablets turned out.

Personal experience with Cibdol CBD softgels: These capsules are a great choice for anyone who wants to easily incorporate CBD into their daily routine without the taste of cannabis. They are easy to swallow, so even those who don’t like the taste of oils will appreciate them.
I took them during a stressful period during the day and in the evening, specifically 1 capsule 3 times a day. I started sleeping better and didn’t feel so much pressure. The advantage is that they are tasteless and, thanks to the practical packaging, you can always have them on hand, whether at home or on the go.
Cibdol capsules are also available in several CBD concentrations, ranging from 5–40%. Concentrations of 5–10% are best suited for beginners, 15–20% for more advanced users, and higher concentrations are suitable for experienced users.

Personal experience with CBD Star hemp CBG capsules:I took CBD Star capsules in the evening. I took 1 capsule, which is the recommended daily dosage. The capsules are filled with oil and have a neutral taste. I can personally recommend them for sleeping and recovery, as they gave me an undisturbed sleep all night, even though I live in the busy centre of Prague, and I also felt more rested during the day than with the CannaCare capsules. They also worked for my headache, I took a nap for a while and after waking up there was no more pain.
The packaging is a real design piece, it is small, looks cute and resembles the packaging of a cream. Thanks to the dark glass, the capsules are protected from external influences. The dosage, ingredients and other info are not indicated on the box, but you can find all the information on the carton.

The package contains 1,000 mg CBD, 30 capsules, 1 capsule contains 33.6 mg CBD.
Ingredients: Hemp seed oil, broad spectrum hemp extract, natural tocopherols (E306)
Personal experience with Hemnia CBD capsules: Hemnia CBD capsules are suitable for day and evening CBD use. I liked them the most because they are tasteless and odorless. They have passed lab analysis and their ingredients are pesticide and herbicide free. They also contain natural tocopherols, which belong to the vitamin E group – a powerful antioxidant. For example, they help protect cells from oxidative stress or boost immunity. In addition to CBD, they contain other cannabinoids, including traces of THC (0.02 %), so there may be a ‘entourage effect‘. Each capsule contains a precise dose of 33.3 mg of CBD, which is a kind of middle ground between CBD Star capsules and those from CannaCare. The capsules just need to be washed down with water. This product offers great value for money, available in packs of 30 or 90.
The capsules are sold in a paper box with a nice nature design in a classic clamshell, where you just pop the capsule out.

4. Euphoria Hemp CBD Gel Capsules

Ingredients: fractionated coconut oil, modified food starch, glycerin, carrageenan, lecithin, purified water, caramel, hemp extract.
Personal experience with Euphoria CBD gel capsules:I have tried Euphoria’s full spectrum CBD capsules both during the day and in the evening. I think they are a good choice if you want CBD capsules without a strong calming effect and don’t know yet whether day or evening use will suit you. These are vegan, gluten-free capsules. The capsule is liquid-filled, easy to swallow and has an unobtrusive, slightly sweet taste. Up to 4 capsules can be taken per day. However, the composition of these capsules is not all-natural compared to CannaCare and CBD Star.
Euphoria opted for a white plastic box. You will also find a QR code on the packaging. Once it’s loaded, product information appears, including a folder called CBD Capsules + Softgels + Tablets, which contains lab analyses of products, including from other brands (e.g. Cannaline).

Ingredients: bulking agent (sorbitol), sweetener (xylitol), cannabidiol CBD extract, acid (citric acid), maltodextrin, nicotinamide, anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate), sweetener (xylitol), thiamine hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride, natural flavor, cyanocobalamin, acacia gum, folic acid, D-biotin.
Personal experience with Cannaline CBD tablets with B-complex: Whenever I felt that I was not completely fit and losing concentration, I reached for these tablets. They are sweet, strawberry flavored and dissolve quickly when chewed. The recommended daily dose is 1 tablet per day. Besides the high dose of CBD, they also contain vitamins B1, B3, B6, B12 and biotin. Biotin is known to be beneficial for hair, skin and nail health. The ingredients are not as simple as previous products as the tablets contain substances such as sorbitol, xylitol and maltodextrin. Still, I have taken a liking to them for daily CBD supplementation to reduce fatigue.
If you’re looking for capsules that you can take during the day without putting you to sleep, try these from Cannaline with B-complex. The low price compared to other products is also a plus, as these are broad-spectrum tablets. The packaging, although in a plain paper box, is very unobtrusive and the tablets resemble sucking vitamins.

What is good to know before buying? Learn about CBD and CBG cannabinoids
Cannabidiol (CBD) is the active compound found in the cannabis plant. CBD is not a psychoactive cannabinoid and is extracted from the industrial hemp plant. CBD products
usually contain up to 0,3 % THC.
CBD is known for its potential relaxing and health benefits. It can help combat stress, anxiety and depression, improve sleep quality and induce a sense of calm, and its potential effects can also help to soothe pain and inflammation, relieve joint pain and skin problems.
Cannabigerol (CBG) is a minor cannabinoid found in small amounts in the cannabis plant. You may know it as the “mother of all cannabinoids“. That’s because the other cannabinoids are derived from cannabigerol acid (CBGA), the acidic form of CBG.
CBG is the precursor to CBD. To get high CBG content from the plant, it needs to be harvested when it is still very young. This is one of the main factors why CBG is not only rarer but also more expensive than the more famous CBD.
CBG is especially promising for problems such as inducing and promoting deep sleep and daytime fatigue, whereas CBD may be better for anxiety-related insomnia. Also, CBG seems more likely to stimulate appetite, whereas CBD regulates it.
Conclusion
If I were to summarize my overall impressions after more than two months of taking it, I feel better, I am charged with positive energy, I started to wake up in the morning by myself and I don’t feel such tension. The capsules help me relax after exercise and can put me in a more relaxed mood. But you need to choose according to what you want from the capsules. If you are looking for a solution to improve your sleep quality, try CBG capsules from CBD Star.
If you want CBD capsules for daytime use so you don’t feel tired, reach for Cannaline, which also has a low purchase price and is a broad-spectrum tablet, or Hemnie‘s capsules, which are suitable for both daytime and evening use. Cibdol is also an excellent choice for daily use, with higher concentrations helping to induce calm after a busy day.
I didn’t feel tired when taking the Euphoria CBD capsules daily, and they didn’t have any significant effects in the evening either, especially when compared to CBD Star, which I felt had a calming effect. I would recommend the Euphoria softgels if you don’t yet know what time of day you are comfortable taking them.
In general, the bioavailability of the tablets is not among the highest – compared to sublingually administered CBD oils, for example, less of the active ingredients enter the bloodstream. But the effect is thought to last longer. CBD capsules provide similar effects to CBD oils and drops.
Capsules offer a convenient and discreet way to take cannabinoids. They’re great for on-the-go and easier to dose compared to oils.
