The third and final representative of the Storz & Bickel brand in our review is the Mighty vaporiser. It is significantly smaller than the Volcano and its manufacturer describes it as a portable vaporiser.

Performance and vapour of the Mighty vaporiser

In terms of size, I wouldn’t be so optimistic, as it is noticeably larger than a modern smartphone, and when used in public, you will be as inconspicuous as an igloo on a Spanish beach in the middle of July. In fact, it is the largest portable vaporizer currently on the market. On the other hand, the battery life is impressive, and if you are planning a trip lasting several days, Mighty is an excellent choice.

This is also thanks to the vapour it produces, which is so thick you could cut it with a knife, and its taste is also first-class. This is thanks to the hybrid heating system, which uses both conduction and convection methods.

However, this probably also means that the herbs, of which about a quarter of a gram can fit into the chamber, are consumed very quickly, so sitting with friends for several minutes vaping together without having to refill the chamber is unrealistic.

However, Storz & Bickel pays attention to every detail, so they have thought of this minor inconvenience and the package includes a plastic tool to facilitate filling the chamber, as well as small dosing capsules that can be filled in advance and then simply inserted into the herb chamber.

Intuitive controls with LED display

The Mighty is equipped with a small LED display showing the set and current temperature and battery status. On either side are plus and minus buttons for adjusting the temperature in the chamber at any time during vaping.

As you probably already know from our articles, each herb requires a different temperature, and different temperatures also mean different effects. Mighty does not use a mobile phone app for control, so it is very easy to operate.

   

Minor shortcomings

There are two details that slightly lowered my rating. The first is the heating time. Waiting a minute and a half to two minutes may not seem like much, but compared to other competitors, it is too long. On the other hand, the temperature in the herb chamber lasts for quite a long time. The second is a really minor but sometimes nerve-wracking detail – the steamer cannot be stood upright. It has a round bottom, so you can only place it on a table. Until you get used to it, the black and relatively heavy box will bang against the table a few times.

However, it is true that the unique design of the outer casing dissipates heat perfectly, so even with prolonged and intensive use, it does not start to heat up uncomfortably in your hands, which is a common problem with some portable vaporizers.

Verdict

The Mighty vaporizer produces amazingly high-quality vapour that you will fall in love with, it is extremely easy to use and has an almost unbelievable battery life. Due to its size, you can forget about discreet use in public, but if that’s not an issue for you, there’s no reason to hesitate.
