Sowohl schwarzer Pfeffer als auch Cannabis enthalten das Terpen Beta-Caryophyllen. Dieses Molekül aktiviert den CB2-Rezeptor des Endocannabinoidsystems und hat eine entspannende und beruhigende Wirkung. Wenn die Wirkung von Cannabis zu stark ist, kann eine Dosis dieses Terpens dem Konsumenten helfen, nüchtern zu werden.
